Sinisthra

Sinisthra emerged from Finland as the 90’s creaked into 2000's. They released their debut album “Last Of The Stories Of Long Past Glories” in 2005, the same year their singer Tomi Joutsen joined Amorphis. This was followed by a surge of interest in Sinisthra, and the momentum carried for a while, until it didn’t anymore. The follow-up album “The Broad And Beaten Way” got postponed, seemingly indefinitely, until it miraculously got released in 2020, only some 12 years after its’ initial conception. In 2024 Sinisthra announced they will casually fall into sleep eternal, and played a final farewell show in their hometown Lohja.
