Metal Mike Chlasciak, most commonly known as the guitarist who helped Judas Priest singer Rob Halford reclaim and hold his statue as the True Metal God, formed PAINMUSEUM in 2002 not long before Rob Halford rejoined Judas Priest. Keeping drummer Bobby Jarzombek from the Halford band, Mike enlisted singer Tim Clayborne (Hatred) and legendary bass player Steve DiGiorgio to help with recordings, which were mixed by Roy Z (Judas Priest, Halford, Bruce Dickinson). Their debut album in 2005 'Metal For Life' was a superb offering full of incredible riffs, memorable songs and much needed attitude. Followed up a couple years later, the band put out the EP 'You Have the Right to Remain Violent.'  For live shows, PAINMUSEUM, at one time or another, enlisted talents of Paul Bostaph (Slayer), Joe Comeau (Overkill) and Mike LePond (Symphony X). The band disbanded not too long after with members keeping busy with various other musical projects. As a member of Rob Halford’s HALFORD, Metal Mike wrote, recorded and toured behind the group’s 4 album deep history with Sanctuary Records Group and Metal God Entertainment. From stadiums around the world to the world’s most famous arena Madison Square Garden, Metal Mike proved that drive, dedication and charisma is what it ultimately takes to be on top of the Metal genre. Metal Mike has since toured and collaborated with Bay Area thrash titans Testament and Sebastian Bach, voice of the multi-platinum Skid Row. Painmuseum's music was the ultimate answer to the art of solid memorable songwriting, ripping guitar assault and top notch breathtaking musician line-up that read like who’s who of Metal talent.
